How to increase tab width in Xshell 5?

Sunday, September 3, 2017 7:05 PM - Garrett Ivy

I'm currently using Xshell 5, however, one huge problem I'm running into is that - after 5 or 6 characters - the title of each tab is being cut off! I've looked around in the options, and I don't see any way to increase the tab width and/or add tab scaling.

Any help?

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Currently we do not support a user defined tab width resizing feature. However, the current version displays up to 25~28 characters per tab. Can you send us some screenshots so we can further investigate your issue?

Thank you for the information.

The problem occurs when the windows scaling feature is applied. Unfortunately, tab size auto scaling has not been prepared. I've reported this to our dev team.

When can we expect a fix then? And how can I disable window scaling in the meantime?

Currently, we have no timetable for the implementation of tab width adjustment.
