Xmanager steals mouse focus [2]
Xmanager steals mouse focus
Friday, November 9, 2001 10:47 PM - I.E. Johannes
I start a Xconsole in a window and then give focus to another windows application. After a few seconds, Xmanager steals the mouse focus. That is, the mouse pointer is moved on top of the Xconsole window. The active windows application keeps its focus i.e. is active.
System specs.
- Windows 2000 sp2
- Xmanager 1.3.9.2

It seems that Xconsole grabs mouse pointer. Could you give us the following information?
- Unix/Linux name and version
- Connection method (Xstart or XDMCP)
- Graphic environment (CDE, GNOME or KDE)

Solved it!
Linux systems:
- RedHat 7.2
- KDE 2.2-12
- Xstart over SSH2 (openssh-2.9p2-9)
Execution Command | Mouse Focus Stolen?
=============================================
/usr/bin/konsole yes
/usr/bin/X11/xterm no
Seens that the KDE application 'konsole' does not work correctly.
I should have done this before submitting this problem...
Shame on me.
btw. i love the wheel mouse support!!
