Unfortunately Xmanager can't clean up processes in the remote Unix host when PC crashes unexpectedly. Actually it is not the problem of Xmanager.

To close all processes used by Xmanager, you can kill xdm(dtlogin, gdm, or kdm) process invoked by Xmanager. Then the xdm process will clean up all X clients connected to Xmanager. Some processes are not X applications and you should kill them explicitely (such as vi editor).
