Screenshots of X terms and Apps

I am evaluating Xmanager and ran into an issue:
I am trying to gather screen shots of X-based applications from my PC (Win2k - using Alt-PrintScreen). The first screenshot is OK, but after cutting and pasting text, new screenshots do not work. When I paste, the previously cut&paste text is pasted instead of an image from the X-app. If I use Alt-PrintScreen on a Windows App, the paste works fine, but again, if I Alt-Printscreen an X-app after that, I get the previous TEXT that was copied.
TIA

In order to capture X application windows, you should turn off "Auto Cut & Paste" option in Xconfig. "Auto Cut & Paste" overwrites images and Windows doesn't support multip-format clipboard feature well.
By turning off the option, you are not able to copy texts from X to Windows and vice verse.
