about input chinese [5]

i'm from china. when i input chinese in vi or shell ,the first time i saw is not chinese words, but after i press ctrl+v keys,i can see what i input.i like the multidocuments style of the xshell.can you tell me ,how to correct the problem?

1.version is Xshell 2.0 (Build 0806)

4.i use the local software to input the chinese, and i tried many input method.

The LANG value may need to be changed from en_US.ISO8859-1 to zh_CN.gb. Please run the command below in ksh.

export LANG=zh_CN.gb
