Xmanager logout automatically every 2 hours [3]

Dear experts,

I appriciate it if any buddy could help me out on this.

Basically when I use Xmanager to connect CDE of Solaris9 machine, the session logout automatically(jump back to the login interface) after every 2 hours. This is happening with All the Solaris users when using different laptops.

I check /etc/login on the Solaris machine and I'm sure the TIMEOUT is commented out.

What could possibily be the root cause for this?

Thanks for your reply. I've gone throush the link you posted but I didn't find related evironment settings in my machine.

I also check the TIMOU setting in /etc/login but it's commented out.

For your information I can see below error messages in /var/dt/Xerrors:

Any ideas on this ?

Xmanager does not set timeout value. This value is usually set on firewall or gateway devices. These devices often times terminate connections when left idle for certain period of time.

If the problem persists, please send us the following information:

1. Does this problem occur on laptops only?
2. Does this problem occur when connection is left idle?
