Hi,I'm using Xshell 2.0 and transfer my files using Xftp 1.3 to connect with server in my department. Generally, I use this programme to run Monte Carlo Neutron Transport (MCNP5 code). In order to run this programme, I use this command: mcnp5 i=inpnIt's work. But I end it before finish run because it takes a long time to finish it.Do you know any command using Xshell to continue this running at other time?Best regards.
Program Ver. : Xmanager 2.x
Connection Method : Xstart connection

Xshell is a terminal emulator. It displays whatever output the remote server returns. The actual program is running in the remote server. You should read the Monte Carlo Neutron Transport manual for this feature.
Is Monte Carlo Neutron Transport a text based or GUI program?

MCNP is a text based program.i have use the "Cm" command which is a mcnp5's feature to continue running histories of the particle transport; reconstruct output of the previous run. but it shows me this message:
"unrecognized symbol in the execution message: cm"
I think maybe you are right. Maybe this problem doesn't affected by the Xshell command, but caused by the MCNP5 commands.
