When I use xshell in serial mode, sometimes I want the xshell to stop output so I can study the output that already there.
So can you please add some control method that I can stop the xshell from outputing as I want? Or does this feature already in xshell?
Thank you again for this excellent tool!

no. That will work in telnet or ssh method connecting to linux.
I connect a board(an embeded system) to my pc's Com1 and on pc, I use xshell as a terminal that output debug message coming from the board. So xshell is acting like a tool called "super terminal" in Windows. And I try crl+s but it still output stuff (version 2.0, build 1501).
Thanks a lot!

To hold terminal from scrolling at some point while Xshell is outputting messages, click the scroll bar. Also, we will consider adding a feature in Xshell 3.0 that will do this with simple keyboard input.
But, stopping output from the server all together is a different story. To do this, you have to know which keys are assigned for Stop and Start signals and send those keys accordingly.

Using scroll bar to see previous output from xshell is miserable while there is new message coming out. Sometimes I have to disconnect the cable to stop the new message coming.
Thanks for your time and thanks again for this excellent software!
