Xshell is hung up sometimes

Tuesday, November 20, 2007 10:57 AM - yehq

I use Xshell 3.0 beta. When I click cancel in user authentication dialog, Xshell will be hung up sometimes. This situation occurrs on some particular hosts, not all.

Thank you for trying Xshell 3.0 beta.

First, try upgrading Xshell beta to the latest build.

If the problem persists, please tell us name and version of the server (i.e. OpenSSH ver. 4.7 for Fedora Core 5). We will try to duplicate the problem.

Thank you for the information.

We have tested the problem with a similar configuration (Red Hat AS 3.0 with OpenSSH 3.9) but the problem did not occur.

Can you tell us what you mean by 'hang up'? It is not clear if it means Xshell freezes or simply the connection gets disconnected.

Also, send us the tracing information. To enable these options, open the session properties dialog box, and then click Trace from the left side menu. Select all tracing options in Protocol Events and click OK to save the changes. Now, when you connect to this session, the tracing information should be displayed. Include all messages to your message.

If Xshell freezes and you cannot copy the tracing information, send us the screenshot instead.

Thanks for the reply.

I mean that 'hang up' is 'freeze'.
I cannot copy the trace information, so I send the screenshot to you.
