Xshell window sent to wrong monitor

Thursday, February 22, 2007 8:52 AM - Fabrizio Salvatore

Hi,

I have installed Xmanager Enterprise 2.1 and Xshell 2.0. When I'm in the office I have an external monitor attached to my laptop and I use both monitors. In the 'General' panel of the Xmanager profile ('XConfig -> Default Profile) I've set the WindowMode to 'Autodetect' to get whether to chose single monitor or multi-monitor. However, when I'm home and the laptop is not attached to the external monitor, sometimes the Xshell window is opened outside the limits of the laptop's monitor, as if it was sent to the external monitor that in fact is not present. How can I tell Xshell to use simply the laptop's monitor when the other one is not present ?

Thanks forthe help,

Fab

Hi,

thanks for the reply. Could you please tell me what procedure do I have to follow ? Do I have to download and install the build 0025 of Xmanager Enterprise 2.1 ? Do I have to un-install the version that I have currently installed ? Will the new version of Xmanager recognize automatically my license (I bought an Educational license last week) or do I have to re-enter my license number ?

Thanks,

Fab

You can download and install Xmanager Enterprise Update (Build 0025) from the following link:

http://download.netsarang.com/files/xme21s.exe

There is no need to reinstall or re-enter your product key.
