How to select and copy using only keyboard

I use several tabs on xshell windows simulteanously. Sometimes, xshell is the only application that I use for 2-3+ hours at a stretch when doing programming assignments. I use keyboard for almost everything except when it comes to selecting text. Xshell does not seem ot have any keyboard shortcut to select text . even selecting the most recent command on command line reduce the need for the mouse a lot.
Is there any way to accomplish this in current versions Xshell Or is this a new feature that needs to be implemented
Program Ver. : Xshell 4

This sounds like a great feature for Xshell. It has been reported to our developers and the case # is 2618.
