Allow setting global default charset

I would like to see a global feature that would allow me to set UTF-8 encoding globally.
Right now it's system default and I can't set it to UTF-8.
My bet is that the option would be:
Global option: Select encoding
Default: <System default>
Session options:
Default charset: <Global> (if not set)
It was designed very well for example in FlashFXP application.
Program Ver. : Xshell 4

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We will test the FlashFXP and consider adding this feature in making the future version.
Also, have you tried setting the Encoding in the default session? All user created sessions get the values from the default session. So, if you set character encoding to UTF-8 in the default session, it will be used in the new sessions you create.
To access the default session, click on the Properties icon in the Standard toolbar and click the Default session.
