No 2 Session

Thursday, September 2, 2010 9:44 AM - Fabio

Hi, i've a problem...
I've installed a Ubuntu 10.04 and i would like to connect with Xmanager more than one client with different username/password but only the first client can works on Ubuntu.
The other client (that connect on ubuntu whit our user/passwd) see only the desktop image, without icons and menus...
If i disconnect the first client, i must restart gdm for to be able to return on our desktop, otherwise it see the same effect, the desktop image, but not the menu and icons.
Are there a solution?

Tanks,

Fabio

Program Ver. : Xmanager 3.0
Connection Method : Xstart connection

You may have per host session limit set. Open the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file and edit DisplaysPerHost to 2 or higher. It should look like the following:

DisplaysPerHost=2

If the problem persists, please send us the following information:

1. Send us: /etc/gdm/custom.conf
2. Did you upgrade your remote server to Ubuntu 10.04 or is it fresh install?
3. Result of 'uname -r'
