Print Screen a Window

Tuesday, November 8, 2011 7:14 PM - Paul

I would like to Print Screen a certain window only inside my session.
Like "Alt-Printscreen" in windows, but I am able to copy the whole "x-manager screen"
What are the necessary steps to do this?

My Current config settings are:
General: Auto Detect Window Mode
Advanced: Options Automatic Cut and Paste + X Selection

Program Ver. : Xmanager 3.0
Connect Method : Xstart connection

Alt-Print screen is a Windows function that copies the screen of an application to clipboard. For Windows, Xmanager (entire screen) is a single application.

To do this, you can do:

1. Open the application in Multiple window mode by using Xstart.
2. Use Alt-Print screen to capture screenshot of the application.

To capture an X window with in an XDMCP session, right click on the Xmanager title bar and select Edit > Copy or Save. It will draw a rectangle around the window that the cursor is pointing. Click the window you want to capture.
