HI, guys
When I use xbrowser login my ubuntu(11.04), I cannot carry sudo users-admin mormally. the users-admin UI just always be gray status. In other words, I can't add user through xbrowser login.
Some other system settings setup also has the same issue.
My /etc/gdm/custom.conf :
[security]
DisallowTCP=false
AllowRoot=true
AllowRemoteRoot=true
AllowRemoteAutoLogin=false
[xdmcp]
Enable=true
DisplaysPerHost=10
Program Ver. : Xmanager 4
Connect Method : XDMCP connection

We have tested on Ubuntu 10.04 x64 and found out it take rather long time until the controls become enabled. Please try waiting for at least one minute.
If the problem persists, please try opening the application on console.

Actually, my problem is I cannot setup some system configurations through xbrowser. It seems like ubuntu has some special security permission settings for remote X. For example:
1. System -> Preferences -> Network Connections, select the eth0, but the edit button is alway gray(disable status)
2. System -> Administration -> Users and Groups, click the add button, without any response.
I also tried login with root, but did not work too.
Should I configure gdm with other items? Thanks for your reply.
It takes me a long time, but still not resolve it.

I have never heard of such security feature and can confirm this is not occuring on our Ubuntu machines.
Please try the same on the system console (physical machine) and make sure the problem does not occur there.

I have checked the same actions on my physical machine. It has no problems.
After I taped the users-admin -> add button, popup the authenticate window,
but in Xbrowser, the authenticate window cannot popup at all.
And in Xbrowser I cannot edit the deault eth0, but can add a new one, then only can edit the new one. While, on my physical machine, I can edit both of them.

We have successfully duplicate this problem. I think there is a new setting or policy setting that is preventing this action on XDMCP connection. But, there is no documentation about this. We are looking for some solutions now. Please allow us a few days to get back to this post.
Meanwhile, if you have any updates on this issue, please let us know.
