wnen I connect solaris8,I can login CDE and can see system desktop,but I cannot see application graphic window,help me.
In solaris8 /var/dt/Xerror,log say:null child found in argument list to unmanager

By default, Solaris CDE does not launch graphical applications upon logon. To access an application, you can either select it from the CDE menu or execute it from terminal.

Few custom made applications are designed to be displayed on specific machines exclusively. Please make sure that this is not your case.

Also, part of Xerror message you included is a warning message and you can safely ignore it.
