ISO8859-6 font is not provided at this time. But, you can try using the font server. Here is the instruction on how to use the font server:
/products/xmg_faq.html#h-3
*The instruction assumes that your PC and the remote host are in the same network.
Also, if you can tell us the following information, we will see if we can provide the font:
1. Problem description
2. Name and version of the remote host
3. Language setting

I have an Aix 5.1
I add additional language on it (ISO8859-6 Arabic Lebanon ar_LB)
Logon threw the server?s vga console choosing options language ?Arabic Lebanon (ISO8859-6)?
Then open a terminal session ?dtterm? pressing ?alt + right shift? switch to Arabic mode
Pressing any characters it will be displayed in Arabic context.
When I logon threw Xmanager3.0 on windows xp pc and I do the same process I got a scratch symbols
Not Arabic characters.
I add a font Server on the font tab of Xconfig but i still have the same problem.
thanks in advance.

We don't provide Arabic font from our download page at this time. However, you can use Arabic by using font server and disabling the 'Automatic Font Substitution' option (under Xconfig > Font tab).
*make sure you restart Xmanager after changing the setting.
If the problem persists, please send us the following file:
/usr/lib/X11/fs/config
And also, the result of the 'xset q' command on the console (the physical remote host itself).

I used font server and disabling the 'Automatic Font Substitution' option (under Xconfig > Font tab
it doesn't work first i disabled all font catalogues
except entry of font server i'he got this message when trying to open xdmcp server "could not open default font "fixed" "
when i open xdmcp sever with all font catalogues checked the result of xset q is in the attachment
about directory /usr/lib/X11/fs it doesn't exist because i'm using AIX 5.1 not linux server,
there is a directory in /usr/lib/X11 named config
with a lot of files
thanks in advance.

If you do not have the /usr/lib/X11/fs/config file, it usually means that you do not have font server installed. For now, the only way to use Arabic font on Xmanager is to use the remote font server.
Please install the font server first and try again. To install font server, you should contact your AIX system administrator.
Also, you should perform the 'xset q' command on the remote server (in front of the physical machine itself). This is to see which fonts are served on the remote host. The previous 'xset q' result you attached includes Xmanager information.

Thank for your help.
i have installed the X11.fontserver on my aix server and problem is resolved.
sorry for the misunderstood i thought that a font sever is already installed with X11 package but it seems that it has to installed separately.
thanks
