PCADDR Variable being ignored
Thursday, December 18, 2008 5:57 AM - Alexander Finch
Hi All!
I'm trying to pass my local Windows IP address to the command I'm running (in much the same way that you might set the display address).
I've added $PCADDR to my execution line in XStart, but it is ignored (XManager sends the literal "$PCADDR" rather than a substituted IP address). The same thing happens with $DISPLAY.
For instance, if my command is "echo $PCADDR", the reply box shows me:
[13:53:25] Sent the command line.
[13:53:25] echo $PCADDR
[13:53:25] Start timer (TIMER_SHUTDOWN, 180).
PCADDR: Undefined variable.
The destination shell is CSH on Fedora. I'm using XManager 2.0 with both Telnet and SSH, with a default configuration.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Program Ver. : Xmanager 2.x
Connection Method : Xstart connection

$PCADDR value is ignored for SSH connection. I think they will add this feature in the future releases.
