We are doing some research on FTPS. However, I can't guarantee you on when the feature will be added since SFTP is rapidly replacing FTP and FTPS. Also, SFTP provides many advantages over FTPS.

Thank you for your comment.

Hi,

I'm also interested in FTPES support (because I'm currently stuck with FileZilla which kindly sucks all the CPU when doing the transfer :( ... ).
Please note that FTPES is different from FTPS:
- FTPES is an extension of FTP, with commands allowing to switch command and data channels to SSL explicitly. FTPES uses default FTP TCP port.
- FTPS is a standard FTP protocol over a SSL channel. Because it is different (and implicit), FTPS uses a different TCP port.

I'm no trend expert, but FTPS does not seem to have any advantage over SFTP (which is a binary protocol and very commonly used).
On the other hand, FTPES has the huge advantage to allow secure authentication on SSL channel and transfer on non secured-channels, thus allowing to transfer files at maximum speed.

All this speech to tell you that I'm interested in FTPES :)

Thanks,
Pascal.
