XFtp crashed [8]

Unhandled exception at 0x004129d0 in Xftp.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000004.

Every time when I tried to update directory(drag from the right site to left site, confirm with overwrite) autom4te.cache of my local disk from remote, xftp will crash.

But if I enter the directory, drag only files, it will work fine.

XFTP is the newest version.
Attachment 1 is the sample of my working directory
Attachment 2 is the screen shot of vs2005 that handled the exception.

The autom4te.cache directory is under control of svn.

Yeah, you got it.
It is becouse of the .svn director cause the crash.
You can look at the Attachment picture.

I am glad the problem is fixed. We will add the fix to our next release.

The download failure may be caused by insufficient user right. Please check the permission on the files and folders.

I don't think it is becouse of privilege becouse the login use is in the Administrators group.

And I test some case and I think it is becouse the ".svn" directory and it's subdirectory.

Every time while I update the local file, I delete the autom4te.cache directory first and the download process works fine.

It seems the failed files have Read only properties in Windows. Please check if the following files and folders have Read only properties set:

.svn
- all-wcprops
- entries
text-base
- output.0.svn-base
- output.1.svn-base
requests.svn-base
traces.0.svn-base
traces.1.svn-base


Also, please send us the error message. To view the error message:

1. Double click on the failed transfer in the Transfer window.
Result: The transfer status dialog box opens.
2. Send us the screenshot of the dialog box.

Yes, those file was readonly.
Xftp reported can not create file.
