drag & drop possible bug [1]

drag & drop possible bug

Friday, October 23, 2015 4:55 PM - NeOnD

HI,

Here are the steps to reproduce -
1. I set Local Folder to "C:\Users\username\Documents\NetSarang\Xftp\Temporary" in my default session properties
2. Open remote host using sftp://user@host
3. Right click on a certain file to edit with my editor
4. So I have the file open in my editor which is physically inside C:\Users\username\Documents\NetSarang\Xftp\Temporary
5. Now in Xftp, I accidentally I dragged (right to left pan) the same file from the remote host to local Temporary directory (C:\Users\username\Documents\NetSarang\Xftp\Temporary)
6. Then it starts a continuous upload/download process of that file (I see two running Transfer processes) and zeros out the file both locally & at remote host.
7. So in turn I end up with an empty file. Is there a way to prevent it?

Program Ver. : Xftp 5

Hello,

C:\Users\vk1833\Documents\NetSarang\Xftp\Temporary folder is a unique Xftp folder.

Xftp uses this folder as temporary file downloading folder when editing remote files directly or transferring files from one server to another. Xftp continuously monitors this folder and initiates an upload when the editing file is changed.

Therefore, we do not recommend using this folder as local folder.
