Xftp suggestions [3]

Hi,

Have few suggestions for Xftp -

1. Whenever we pick any previous connection entry from the 'Quick Connect Bar', we got to hit Enter in order to get to that. Is it possible to go to that entry as soon as we select one without having to hit Enter?
2. For Xagent authentication using a public key - I noticed that Xagent asks for a Pass-phrase even though private key is not encrypted (doesn't have a Pass-phrase). Then we again have to click "ok" on blank Pass-phrase to get in. Is it possible to not prompt at all when there's no Pass-phrase required?
3. On the 'Quick Connect Bar' a typical quick connect entry requires ~ (tilda) to be used if we're mentioning a dir relative to $HOME of the user. Could make it not to ask for one. Meaning in order to go to a folder "Data" inside my $HOME could I just use -
sftp://myhost.edu/Data
rather than
sftp://myhost.edu/~/Data
It's no big deal as such to use ~, it's just that it's a little inconvenient & not following the standard like other programs e.g. Beyond Compare etc.

We will consider doing this in the future. It has been added to the queue.

I am not sure if Xagent can know if the user key has no passphrase. We will look into this.

Do you know how Beyond Compare works if there are /Data and $HOME/Data? Because sftp://myhost.edu/Data means /Data folder, this may confuse some users.

For third one the answer to your question -

Beyond Compare uses -
sftp://myhost.edu//Data (for /Data)
sftp://myhost.edu/Data (for ~/Data)

As you can see there's an extra "/" for referring any file from root.
