Hi
My configuration is a remote pc running windows xp sp3, a local isp connection,
an AT&T vpn connection to our network. I then authenticate through another
internal firewall and then start Xmanager. I can present an AIXTERM without
any problem. I connect to a system running AIX 7.1. That system has a lan
connection to a private lan and I need to connect to a system on that private
lan with firefox that is started from the AIX7.1 system. The message I get is can not open display when I run firefox & on the aix 7.1 box. If I have an ip in the
display variable, that shows up as well.
I have tried both export DISPLAY=vpn assigned ip:0.0 and no DISPLAY variable
set. This has worked in the past although it is extremely slow.
Any thoughts? (yes, its a properly licensed copy and there are no logs.)

Can you try running Firefox from aixterm? What is the error message?
