Hi,

We have been using Xbrowser for AIX administration for SAP system admin.
Whenever I use Xbrowser for installation or upgrades of SAP which runs for some time and then the session gets closed automatically. After this I have to restart the session and need to start the SAP installation again.

This is not feasible for us becuase SAP installation is a long process and it never gets completed in this way.

Please suggest the resolution for the same ASAP as we are in some urgent projects..

Connect Method : XDMCP connection

Xmanager never closes connection by itself. It is usually disconnected from the firewall or router. These devices are known to drop connections when it is left idle.

To check if this is causing the issue, try running an application that constantly updates the screen such as ping or top.
