Window position [4]
Window position

Hi,
I start an application with the xstart via ssh.
In the application I start a subitem and a child window comes up
- now I move that window to the edge of monitor to see
the issues of the root window. Then I close the second window and start it again.
The window always comes up in the start position and covered my first window.
If I run that application with another Xserver like mobaXterm oder Exceed, the
child window comes up under the position where I closed the window.
How can I tell the xmanager that it should remember the latest position
of the child window?
Thanks.
Diane.

Can you tell us the name and version of the X application that is causing this problem and the steps to duplicate the issue? If we can duplicate the issue, it will us understand the issue and fix it faster.

The X-application is an airline specific application. We are looking for another
Xserver because we weren't happy with our current solution. So far xmanager looked
very good but this little bug, that our program running with the xmanager doesn't remember the last window position, is probably a knock out criteria.
As I already mentioned we have no problems with other Xservers like mobaXterm or
Hummingbird Exceed - but these have other bugs :-(.
