shell over serial [4]

shell over serial response slowly.
delay couple seconds sometimes.
it works well on xshell 3.

This issue is caused by new drawing method introduced in the new program framework we used in Xshell 4. But, it just looks slower because it draws block of information at a time instead of drawing a line at a time.

To compare speed with Xshell 3, try using the following command to check the time to complete a command:

time ls -R

Our developers are working on this issue to make drawing more smooth on serial connection.

I found this problem too,It take a lot of time to display router's large config file (e.g. show tech-support)

The total time it takes to finish the same command should be about the same for both Xshell 3 and 4. It just looks slower on version 4 becuase a chunk of information is drawn instead of line by line.

Our developers are on this issue.

i don't think so. it happen only when i use xshell 4 on a uart serial.
