Saved passwords

Xshell is cool but before we implement the same in Data Center environment, we need to be pretty sure about the security. It allows us to save the login passwords for any host. But is it safe to save the same in all circumstances? I guess it is stored in encrypted form but need some basic information about the stuff.

Program Ver. : Xshell 3.0

Passwords are securely encrypted and only Xshell users can use it. But, if security is your utmost concern, we recommend you not saving the password.

When I copy a session to another user, the new user can share the saved password?

In Xstart, password can be decrypted only by the user who created it.

We will add the same feature to Xshell and Xftp soon.

Thanks for asking.
