Proxy Server password not saved [5]

Xshell Proxy Server settings are all saved except for the password. I don't know why, but it never happened before.

Xshell 3.0 Build 0260 & Windows 7 (Happens on XP too)

Program Ver. : Xshell 3.0

Any idea how/why this is happening and how to fix it?

This is a bug in the current Xshell release (build 0260).

The bug is fixed and the new release will be available soon.

Thanks a lot, looking forward to the new release.

But I uninstalled XShell and installed an older version (0259), problem wasn't solved. I'm not sure anymore...

I cleaned the registry from any XShell traces before installing the older version by the way.

Q: isn't there any way I can add the proxy password to the registry directly?

Proxy passwords are saved in registry as encrypted strings. So, you cannot add/edit these entries manually.
