Firstly, Connect a serial cable from the cisco to your PC. If your pc have no serial ports, just only USBs, you need to attach a usb2serial connector.
Secondly, Open Xshell, and make a session file. Then select the connection method to 'Serial'.
Mostly just selecting the serial port number which you connect in the first step may be all thing you have to do.

I have done this procedure , but does not working
To see the message below:

Connection closed by foreign host.
Obs:
I can access the same router using the Tera Term software.

Please look under Properties > Serial and try changing the SERIAL options to match the options in the TARA TERM session.
