Xshell only supports monospaced fonts.Non-monospaced fonts are not designed for terminal sessions and text based applications will come out broken if the font is not monospaced.

If there are other monospaced fonts which are not listed in Xshell, How can I choose that font?
BTW, Xshell is a really convenient and excellent tool. But the fonts are ugly.

Which font are you trying to use? We will test it out and send you an instruction. Could you send us the font file?

Such as the Inconsolata font (see attachment, please). This Font Software is licensed under the SIL Open Font License. And actually there are a lot.
Why not open this port to the user? I believe many programmer would like to use their differentially preferred fonts. And letting the choice right to user will be bound to be popular.

It looks beautiful. If the font is in public domain, could you add it to the post so that other users can use it too?
