XFTP from XSHELL present working Directory ??

Sunday, March 8, 2009 11:08 AM - coolguy

Hi,

I use XSHELL often and many times I had to transfer files. So in XSHELL -> New File Transfer, opens XFTP but it opens in $HOME dir for the user rather than the working directory in XSHELL.

Any way to get it to open XFTP and go to the present working directory?

Program Ver. : Xftp 3.0

Thank you for your feedback. I have added your idea to our requested feature list. We hope to bring this to life in the future.

Also, have you tried using ZMODEM? If your server supports ZMODEM, try draging a file from local computer and drop it on to Xshell terminal. It will automatically trigger a transfer. This is very quick and simple way to transfer files.

Oh.. wow that's cool. didn't know about that feature, very handy :)

If they could add that one feature in my initial post, that would be great!

Thank you for your suggestion.

Meanwhile, please try using the following command to download/upload files to your server.

# sz $FILENAME //FOR DOWNLOADING A FILE FROM SERVER

# rz // FOR UPLOADING FILES TO SERVER
