Menu Features Not Working [1]

1/ add/remove standard buttons
- it doesn't matter which buttons you remove, whenever you restart xshell the following
2 standard buttons still appear ( even if you remove them ):

encoding
fonts

2/ The following under "customize" do not work :
a/ customize commands
b/ customize toolbars
c/ customize menu
