What's the new feature of xshell?

I downloaded the xshell 4 beta and installed it. It comes to me just like a UI-modified version of xshell 3. So I wonder what's the new feature of xshell 4, where is the most wanted feature of "ssh connection reuse". Besides, the help file of this beta is still the version 3.

Thank you for your feedback. We have added many features, but being a terminal emulator, new features are usually not visible up-front. Our main focus was to make the main UI less cluttered and provide more working space (terminal) for users.

Here are some of the new features:

Key mapping
We know a lot of users were waiting for the key mapping feature. So, in Xshell 4, terminal keys and the file menus can be mapped to users' preferred keys. You can even map a key to start an application or start a scripting.

Scripting
With the new Scripting feature, you can automate the repeated tasks. Various features in Xshell can be accessed through scripting including file menu items, toolbar features and terminal.

Download by selection
To download a file or multiple files using zmodem, all you have to do is to highlight the filename and select the "Download with zmodem" option from the Smart Selection menu.

And, we will try to implement the SSH connection reuse feature, in the near future.

Help file for version 4 will be ready before the official release.
