uninstall and install fails [1]

Tried to uninstall xshell 3.0 and I got the following error: OnMaintUIBefore. Then the uninstall fails and crashes explore.exe.

So I try to reinstall and I get the following error: "xshell set mediapackage value failed" then the install also fails.

Now I can not remove or reinstall xshell. Got any suggestions?

Please follow the steps below to uninstall Xshell manually and try reinstalling it:

*Always make a backup of your registry before making any changes.

1. Erase the following registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{0ADDDE01-D0BF-428B-A049-AA0C37035319}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield Uninstall Information\{0ADDDE01-D0BF-428B-A049-AA0C37035319}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{0ADDDE01-D0BF-428B-A049-AA0C37035319}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NetSarang\Xshell\3

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\10EDDDA0FB0DB8240A94AAC073303591

2. Erase the following folders:

C:\Program Files\NetSarang\Xshell 3

C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{0ADDDE01-D0BF-428B-A049-AA0C37035319}\

C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{0ADDDE01-D0BF-428B-A049-AA0C37035319}\

Now, the uninstallation is completed. Try reinstalling the software.
