I get "Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP" error when I launch any programs on KDE desktop

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When you launch any programs on KDE desktop, you get the following error and the program fails to run: 

Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP



RESOLUTION

This problem seems to be related to a bug in older version of KDE. This error message appears when a program on the desktop is started after Klauncher is abnormally terminated. Also, the same proble occurs on the console as well.


It is advised to use Gnome for the users who are having this problem.


*Some uses have reported that running kdeinit from Konsole fixed the problem.
