Ubuntu theme does not work on Xmanager

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When you use Xmanager to access the remote Ubuntu, Gnome theme does not work. 

 

 

RESOLUTION

This problem occurs due to a bug in Ubuntu.

To resolve this problem, follow the instruction below:

  1. Run gconf-editor

  2. Navigate to /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/plugins/keyboard

  3. Uncheck the Active box on the right

  4. Log out and log back in (or manually start gnome-settings-daemon)
