How to set the intial desktop envrionment for CDE

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

This article explains how to set the initial desktop environment such as start-up applications and windows layout. 

RESOLUTION

From xterm, start dtstyle and select Startup:

• Resume current session: CDE remembers the last working envrionment before user logs off and opens them again when user logs in. 
• Return to Home session: CDE opens the user envroinment configured in the Home Session settings.
• Ask me at Logout: CDE asks when user logs off.

Set Home Session: Sets the current working envrionment as the default Desktop environment for the user.
