XManager stops responding

Thursday, June 28, 2012 7:40 AM - Prakash Sompura

I have CentOS 6.2 to be connected by Xmanager running on Windows 7.

I can see my server in Xbrowser. When I click it I get login screen of my CentOS server. After I log in by root/non-root user it stops responding.

I have no firewall running on my Windows machine and IPTABLES is off on my CentOS server.

However I was able to login by Hummingbird Exceed which I have already uninstalled.

Please help.

Program Ver. : Xmanager 4
Connect Method : XDMCP connection

Please update your Xmanager by selecting Check for updates in the Help menu and enabling the XKeyboard extension:

1. Open the default profile in Xconfig.
2. Go to the Advanced tab.
3. Select XKEYBOARD from the list.
4. Select on the OK button.
5. Try connecting again.

If the problem persists, please let us know.
