XManager on Windows 7
Monday, October 26, 2009 10:05 AM - Brian
I'm curious whether XManager 3.0 supports Windows 7 x64. I have an xdts file that worked okay on Vista (32-bit). The same xdts does not connect on Windows 7.

Program Ver. : Xmanager 3.0

Xmanager supports both x64 and x86 regardless of Windows version. If you can't connect to the host on Windows 7, the problem is usually the firewall settings. Make sure Xmanager.exe is added to the exception list.
If the problem persists, please attach the Xmanager log file.

Recently i installed windows 7 32-bit in my PC then installed the same version but i can SSH to the server not XDMCP and Xmanger saying connection failed. Also tried the Xmanager 4 version but still the same. Will you please assist on this advance thanks

I don't think any difference between Windows 7 and XP . Check your connection settings imaybe something wrong.

It sounds like you need to perform configuration on your new Windows. Please Allow TCP Port 6000-6010 and 16001 on Windows firewall.
