We use windows terminal server, all user will login the terminal server. And via it connect to linux servers. Usually, we use ssh connect to linux servers, when we open xwindows, we want it can display on the terminal server Desktop via xmanager. such as, user A open one xwindows at linux server, then the windows can open at user A desktop, not user B.
How can we let multi users on terminal servers connect linux server via xmanager?
The terminal server has only one IP, then all user set the DISPLAY config will point to this IP. And when one set passive xstart number to another number, such as 2, then all others xstart number will change to 2 too. So when one open a xwindows, it usually display in another desktop.
If any advice or suggestion about such case, thanks very much.
Program Ver. : Xmanager 4
Connect Method : Xstart connection

You can manually set the DISPLAY number by:
1. Open Xborwser and create a new passive session
2. Right click on the passive session and select Properties
RESULT: The session properties dialog box opens
3. Click on the X Server tab
4. Clear the Allocate display number automatically option
5. Enter the display number
This way each user can be manually assigned to a display number.
Also, when you use Xmanager on Terminal Server, the display number is assigned automatically. When a user opens a session, Xmanager checks for any running instances and assigns a new display number automatically.
