Downloading files from a remote host
If an SFTP or FTP connection is established, you can download files. There are various ways to download files or folders from the remote computer.
To download files with menu:
- Select files to download in the Remote Folder window.
- Place a Local Folder tab on either side of the Remote Folder tab.
- Choose one of the following three options.
- On the Commands menu, click Transfer. And then, from the Transfer Destination dialog box, select the destination folder.
- From the menu opened by the right-click in the Remote Folder window, click Download.
- On the Toolbar, click Transfer Left or Transfer Right.
To download files with drag and drop:
- Select files to download in the Remote Folder window.
- Drag the selected files and drop them onto the Local Folder.
Note
The selected files can be dropped onto the Desktop or Window Explorer.
To download files with copy and paste:
- Select files to download in the Remote Folder window.
- Choose one of the following three options:
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- From the menu opened by the right-click in the Remote Folder window, click Copy.
- Click the Local Folder window.
- Choose one of the following three options:
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
- From the menu opened by the right-click in the Local Folder window, click Paste.
To download files after creating a download list:
- Select files to download in the Remote Folder window.
- Right-click on the selected files, and then click Queue.
To resume downloads in pause status:
- Select one of the following methods.
- In the Transfers window, right-click on the paused transfers, and then click Resume.
- Right-click on the Transfer window, click Resume All.
