Xmanager Failed to initialize XRandr [5]

Hello,

Some applications don't work through Xmanager and return "Failed to initialize XRandr" although Randr is checked in my Xmanager configuration.
Others Xmanager alternative work (but i prefer the xmanager suite), so the issue is client slide (Xmanager).

Do you know why i have this issue ?

This doesn't seem to be an issue related to the XRandR extension.

The last message, "Fatal IO error..." indicates that the X app tried connecting to the Xserver but failed. This leads me to believe that wireshark didn't connect to a proper Xserver such as Xmanager.

The same command worked with other Xserver, and some others apps work with Xmanager. Do you know why specifically wireshark would have an issue with Xmanager ?

We're going to need to investigate further why this is an issue. We've done tests on CentOS and Ubuntu and were unable to replicate the issue. Can you please provide the following?

1. Your Linux distribution and version
2. Your wireshark version

We've found an issue with Wireshark with the QT library of Ubuntu 16.04. Our devs are currently further looking into this issue.

In the meantime, if UI is not much of a concern, may I recommend Wireshark with the GTK library? It works well with Xmanager.

You can use the following command:

# apt-get install wireshark-gtk
