Registry Key error while installing [6]

I get this error message while installing.
"Failed to write the install date on the system registry." And while I execute the Xshell i get the same error with some different english. Both the error messages are attached.

I use Windows 98 SE on a AMD Athlon.

This problem may occur when InstallShield Script is corrupted. Please follow the instruction below to reinstall InstallShield Script.

1. Delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\9
2. Download ISScript9.zip at
http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108322/ISScript9.zip
3. Extract IsScript.msi and install it.

If your problem persists, please try restarting your machine.

This error may occur when dll is not loaded properly. To fix this problem, first, uninstall Xshell, and then restart your machine. When the system loads up, install Xshell again.

NOTE: You should install Xshell before you start other applications
