Session Logging

To Log Character Strings Only:

1. Point to [Log] in the [File] menu.
2. Select [Start]. Save As dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter the file name where log data is to be saved.
4. Clear [Record terminal code as well as normal text].
5. Click [Save].

• Note
  Logging continues until a session ends. To stop logging without ending a session, select [Stop] from the [File] – [Log] menu. Files with different names in the Save As dialog box are file formats which were specified the the logging options of a session's properties.

To Log Character Strings with Terminal Codes:

1. Point to [Log] in the [File] menu.
2. Select [Start]. Save As dialog box is displayed.
3. Enter the file name where log data is to be saved.
4. Check [Record terminal code as well as normal text].
5. Click [Save].

To Start Logging at Session Connection:

1. Open the Session Properties dialog box.
2. Select [Advanced > Logging] from [Category].
3. Select [Start logging upon connection].
4. Designate the folder or file name where the log is to be saved.
5. Click [OK].
