Exit Xshell

To disconnect with a session, enter 'exit' in the terminal screen prompt or select [Disconnect] from the [File] menu.

  • Note 
    If a session is disconnected withthe [Revert to local shell when connection is closed] option selected, the session tab remains open and reverts back to local shell. Under local shell status, the current session file's path prompt is displayed in the terminal screen and local commands, such as open, telnet, ssh, and ping can be executed. 

To end Xshell, select [Exit] from the [File] menu.
