I get Error 1603 when installing NetSarang software

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When installing NetSarang software, you get the following error message and installation fails:

Error: 1603 Fatal error during installation.


RESOLUTION

This problem occurs when the InstallScript engine on the PC is older than the version required to run the setup. You need to install the lastest version of ISScript.msi.


To resolve this problem, follow the instruction below to upgrade ISScript: 

  1. Delete the following folder:

    %Program Files%\Commen Files\InstallShield\Driver


  2. Download and install IsScript at:
    http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108158/IsScript9.zip 

  3. Install Xmanager again
