Lines in my CUI programs are not displayed properly

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

This article explains how to correct the problem with displaying lines in CUI programs like mc and setup

RESOLUTION

This problem may occur when you are using UTF-8 encoding and two byte encoding characters such as Korean, Japanses and Chinese. To fix the issue, enable the Treat CJK ambiguous characters as wide option.
To enable the Treat CJK ambiguous characters as wide option:
1. Open the Session Properties dialog box.
2. Click on the Terminal menu.
3. In the Translation section, select the Treat CJK ambiguous characters as wide option.
4. Click OK to save the change.
Lines in mc and setup should appear normally.
