Hi

I've just installed Oracle Linux 5 and Oracle Linux 6 in our lab. I have an X Windows GUI running on the OL6 system, but I don't see this system in Xbrowser. I looked at the instructions for OL in the FAQ, but they files mentioned there don't exist on this system.

Thoughts?

It is possible that you have not installed Gnome or KDE desktop. For Oracle Linux, it is recommended to use Gnome. Please install Gnome and gdm and check if you can access Gnome from console.

Once Gnome and gdm are installed, you can follow the instruction in FAQ again.
