Clear Still Truncates on Some AIX Servers [3]

Hi,
I'm using XShell 2.0 (0806). The fix you applied to stop the Ux 'clear' command from erasing previous output works on most of the servers. However, I have 2 AIX boxes where 'clear' continues to erease output vs. just scroll it. We ran some big job today and the person forgot to turn loggin on. Accidently we did a 'clear' and lost entire output. This made it much harder to troubleshoot the issue. Does XShell allow you to customize the behavior of the 'clear' command to have it erease vs. scroll. I could not find anything related in the options pannel? Also, is there a stty property I need to set on the server to control this? Finally, is there a specific configuration information on my XShell or AIX box that you need to further troubleshoot it.

The problem was caused by each terminal type sending different clear message.

Please replace your xshell.exe file with the attached file. xshell.exe is located in:

Xmanager Enterprise: C:\Program Files\NetSarang\Xmanager Enterprise

Xshell: C:\Program Files\NetSarang\Xshell

We will add this function as an option in our next Xshell version.

Yes. This one worked fine. On the 2 AIX boxes, it no longer erases history. Even though it says build 0809, but I think this is different from same build posted on the main download site. I tried that yesterday, but did not work.
I'm good for now. I do appreciate the responsiveness of you support staff. Great job.
