Hello,
although the build 0400 is great, I think that a sensitive parameter like the default SSH version should be included within the options menu.
Even a quick-connect button (instant connection with only basic parameters: host, username, password, mode, protocol) could be very useful.
Best regards
Luca

Thank you for your feedback.
SSH version information can be accessed through the Advanced SSH option dialog box.
For Quick connection, try using the address bar. For more detail on address bar, please refer to the help file.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Hello,
thanks for the "quick address" info: it was quite obvious, but I'm quite new with the product indeed ...
About the SSH selection, what I mean is that by creating a new profile, the SSHv2 then SSHv1 mode is selected; for security reasons I prefer to use SSHv2 only and this is the default option I'd like to get into the Options menu.
Thanks again
Luca

You can set SSH2 as the default SSH protocol from Default Session Properties. To do that, please follow the instruction below:
1. Start Xshell.
2. From local shell, click the File menu, and then Properties.
Note: Xshell should not be connected.
3. Select SSH from the method list.
4. Click Setup.
RESULT: Advanced SSH Options dialog box opens up.
5. Select SSH2 only (Does not use SSH1) from Protocol Versions.
6. Click OK.
When you create a new session, SSH2 should be selected as default.
